Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

Nearpie is committed to helping keep children safe. These standards explain Nearpie's policies against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Nearpie does not allow CSAE or CSAM in any form. Users may not create, upload, share, request, promote, distribute, store, or link to content that sexually exploits or endangers children. Users also may not use Nearpie to contact, groom, threaten, extort, coerce, exploit, or traffic a child.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are prohibited on Nearpie:

Any visual, written, audio, or other content involving sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.
Solicitation, grooming, sextortion, sexual blackmail, trafficking, or attempts to move child exploitation activity to another service.
Requests for, offers of, or links to CSAM or child sexual exploitation content.
Sexualized comments, roleplay, images, videos, messages, or other interactions involving children.
Content or behavior that facilitates, normalizes, praises, jokes about, or encourages child sexual abuse or exploitation.

Reporting CSAE Concerns

Users can report child safety concerns from within the Nearpie app using the available support contact option, or by emailing us directly at contact@nearpie.app.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or emergency services first.

Review and Enforcement

When Nearpie becomes aware of potential CSAE or CSAM, we may review the relevant content, restrict or remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information where legally appropriate, and take other action needed to protect users and comply with applicable law.

We may also report apparent CSAM or child exploitation activity to appropriate authorities or organizations where required or permitted by law.

Prevention and Safety Measures

Nearpie uses account authentication, security controls, rate limits, server-side validation, moderation practices, and user reporting channels to help detect, prevent, and respond to abuse. We continue to improve our safety practices as our community grows.

Legal Compliance

Nearpie complies with applicable child safety laws and expects all users to follow the law and our Terms and Conditions. Any violation of these standards may result in removal of content, account restrictions, account termination, and reports to appropriate authorities.
